All Canterbury Cottage Products are produced in the
Kitchen of Canterbury Cottage using natural ingredients.
Organic Herbs are picked fresh from the garden and are grown under all natural conditions. No herbicides or pesticides are used to control the creatures that might eat them; in fact there are enough herbs in the garden to share with all God's Creatures. The herbs are picked and dried right in the kitchen and added to the other natural ingredients for making soaps, bath salts and sugar scrubs.
Decorative and Unique Hand Made Labels, Lids and Wrappings add to the Natural Beauty of Canterbury Cottage Products making them excellent items of display in the bathroom and perfect for giving as gifts. Each is a one-of-a-kind item, therefore if you order more than one of anything shown, at the same time, the packaging will vary but will be just as lovely.
United States Postal Service is used in shipping Canterbury Cottage Products anywhere you may live in the United States. Shipping will be either by 1st Class for small soap orders or by Priority Mail. If you have a special delivery request, arrangements can be made to facilitate your needs.
If for any reason you are unhappy with these products, a full refund of purchase price not including shipping will be given within 30 days.
Contrary to popular belief, our Grandmothers didn't always cook up lye soap. For centuries the use of herbs and fragrances to spice up the bath have been practiced in the most definitive homes. Just because our Grandmother moved to the new colonies with Grandfather didn't mean she left behind her inate demand for pleasantries. You can bet if bear grease and tallow were the only thing to make soap with, she put plenty of her favorite herbs in it.
Herbs are plants that will grow just about anywhere under certain conditions. Their gentle texture when bruised emits a most inviting and pleasant aroma. Left alone in the wild this aroma preceeds them even before you see them. Littering the porch and walkways they invite the neighbor in. The casual stroller might even stop while a feeling of rejuvenation surges through his veins.
